Recently, Swiss precision drive brand Maxon has completed a technological iteration of its coreless brushed motor series. By optimizing winding processes and electromagnetic structure adjustments, it further enhances motor smoothness and control precision, solidifying its leading position in the global micro precision drive industry. As a hallmark technology of Maxon, the coreless cup structure completely eliminates traditional motor core designs, fundamentally removing cogging torque and torque ripple. This effectively addresses industry pain points such as low-speed jitter, large control deviations, and unstable operation in conventional precision motors.
This technical upgrade primarily optimized the rotor lightweighting process and winding arrangement method, further reducing the motor’s rotational inertia and significantly improving dynamic response speed, enabling millisecond-level rapid start-stop and high-frequency acceleration/deceleration control. Additionally, the product’s control linearity and energy conversion efficiency have been comprehensively enhanced, with more precise torque and current matching, and further reduced closed-loop control errors, perfectly adapting to micrometer-level precision motion control scenarios. The upgraded full-series products still maintain the advantages of modular design, allowing flexible integration with precision gearboxes, encoders, and drive systems to meet the customized demands of more high-end precision equipment.
